This is one of many examples of the shoddy work that was performed by Adam Bowling of Bowling Built Construction, in our basement finish. He is a licensed Georgia General Contractor under the name of Adam Christopher Bowling, License #RBQA004113.
Consider this
Shut the Front Door one of three posts about our door problems.
In the picture below, you can see that he used a shim to anchor the door on the unfinished side of the basement. This is correct.
However, on the other side of the same unfinished room he didn't have shims for that door. His solution? He opened an entire pack of our unused flooring, that's right,
flooring, to take one piece and create shims. Now we own a ~$100 pack of flooring we planned to return. No contractor worth anything thinks this kind of work is acceptable.
This is the now opened pack of flooring that is not returnable.
